Scott McCorquodale takes aim at a fleeing elk as he shoots a tranquilzing dart at the animal from a helicopter flying just over the animals. McCorquodale, a wildlife biologist for Washington state, was tranquilizing several elk that day so he could analyze the health of each animal and the herd.
