East Valley High School’s Brett Valicoff crouches in defeat as the opposing Othello High School football team celebrates its 31-21 win over East Valley for the Washington state class 2A football championship. It was East Valley’s only loss in a season in which the team posted a school record 13 straight wins before losing to Othello in the championship game.
