Evangelist Alice Sanders shares a laugh with Kevin Wayne Arbogast, who she met while handing out literature along Yakima Ave. She got a variety of reactions, from polite acceptance to outright rejection. As they talk through several changes of the stoplight, Arbogast tells her he has been struggling through substance abuse recovery and Alice urges him to attend church. After the morning's walk, she says she hopes that she will have positively impacted at least one of the people she meets while she is out, and even through the task can be physically demanding, she believes she is making an impact. "He'll (God) let you see the fruits of your labor," she says, saying that although sometimes she'll never know how a momentary connection with someone will impact their life, she has met people who say that meeting her encouraged them to attend church, and renewed their faith.
