On her way out the door for Black Friday shopping, my daughter spotted this spider web in our neighbor’s tree and shouted at me to grab my camera. I did a few minutes later and shot this while my car warmed up.

A blanket of crystal silver and gray freezing fog blanketed Prosser on Friday, making the shopping day anything but black. By the time I passed Grandview on the freeway, it was gone, though. Just another example of how highly localized weather can be around the Yakima Valley can be.
