We just finished up shooting the photos for the annual football preview, which will publish on Sept. 1. It’s a lot of fun and a lot of work and by the end, people tend to get a little punchy. While setting up for the Toppenish shoot, I had sports editor Jerrel Swenning stand in for a light test. He gave it his all.
It was Jerrell who made the funny and insightful observation: Hand a guy a football and automatically he starts acting like he’s running the West Coast offense.
