Global warming

I never sound as stupid and inarticulate as when I’m photographing someone like Miles G. McPhee, a Ph.D and world-renown expert on the effects of global warming. He explained to me how scientists analyze polar ice cores and measure the levels of Oxygen 18 isotopes (I probably got that wrong, here). Obviously having nothing I can add to the conversation, I said something like, “That’s neat!” I did manage to babble at least one good question, though. I asked him if enough alarm is being raised about global warming. I’ll refrain from quoting him since I’ll probably get it wrong, but to sum up his response: there is nowhere near enough alarm being raised. These effects are huge, and we need to do something.
