Reporter Jane Gargas, being a journalist of integrity, decides to get a feel for the work that the subjects of her story are doing and starts pulling invasive weeds (skeleton weed, I believe) on a piece of property in the Columbia Gorge. I like that her notepad and pen are right there beside her like an Old West gunfighter not wanting to get snuck up on.
