Today I shot a story on a man who helps local businesses recycle. When I was shooting him unloading his truck at Central Washington Recycling, I was captivated by the textures of the bales of recycled things — cans and cardboard. I’ve shot bales of compressed stuff before, but it never ceases to interest me — kind of like an abstract painting.
